What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text records a website may place through your browser. Local storage is a related browser feature that can remember a value without sending it with every page request. This site uses local storage for the consent choice described below. Essential hosting infrastructure may use short-lived technical records needed for secure delivery.
What we use
No advertising cookies are used. Optional analytics are not currently activated. If analytics are added later, they will remain off until you select Accept, and this table and banner will be updated before use.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
bytepathcore_cookie_choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies so the banner does not reappear on every page | Until you clear site data | Byte Pathcore (local storage) |
| Hosting security record | Helps the hosting service distinguish valid traffic and maintain secure delivery, where technically required | Session or brief security period | Website host |
The preference value records only accepted or rejected. Rejecting optional cookies does not block consultations, forms, navigation or page content.
Essential and analytics categories
Essential technologies support security, page delivery and your expressed cookie preference. They do not require consent where strictly necessary. Analytics technologies would help measure aggregate visits and navigation, but are optional and currently absent. Choosing Accept does not create analytics cookies while no analytics service is installed.
Managing or disabling storage
Use the banner’s Accept or Reject button on first visit. To change the saved choice, clear site data for byte-pathcore.digital in your browser and reload the page. Browser settings can block cookies and local storage globally or for this domain.
Blocking all storage may cause the banner to return because the site cannot remember your selection. Core site content and the enquiry form should continue to work; a visible message appears if the preference cannot be saved.
Third parties
Pages load a web font from Google’s font service and public editorial images from their source hosts. Those requests can disclose technical information such as IP address and browser headers to the provider, though Byte Pathcore does not set their cookies through this site. Links to external sites are governed by those sites’ notices.
For the broader handling of personal data, legal bases, transfers and rights, read our privacy notice. Questions may be sent to info@byte-pathcore.digital.
